Muslims in Mindanao Should Have Their Own State, But…
I am not a Muslim, but I grew up in Mindanao and i could assent that they’re neglected. Well, practically everyone there are overlooked by the Manila government, Muslims or not.
Yes, i agree partly of what was stated in the MOA between the Government and MILF. Honestly, i have not read the MOA. But i believe it will basically give the Muslims in Mindanao to have their own state.
But what I vehemently disagree is for the MILF to have the power to rule. For me, they’re a bunch of heartless terrorists, and should not be given any seat of power. The recent terror they inflicted on innocent civilians is an obvious testament to that.
Any competent Muslim can adminster, provided he should be legally elected by the common masses.
